Pumpkin Carving

We carved pumpkins with Porter this year and I'm not quit sure what he thought of it. It seemed like he was really grossed out with the inside of the pumpkin, alittle like his mom!! I'm sure as he gets older he will enjoy alot more. Once we were done though i think he thought they were pretty cool.

Trip to Idaho

My cousin Jake just returned from his mission on the . He served in the Olympia Washington mission. We were able to go up and be there for his homecoming. It was a very nice weekend. Maybe a little to long of a trip for just one full day, but Jake you were worth it. It was nice to be with family on a happy occasion. My sister and her boyfriend were able to come down from Oregon and it was really nice to spend time with her, and for Porter to see his Aunt Jamie.

Halloween

So we were so excited this year for Halloween because this year was really Porters first. He was only five months old last year. At the College where I work they always have a Halloween carnival so I thought it would be fun to dress up with Porter. I have never been one to dress up but I was so excited this year that I decided to get out of my comfort zone. Scary I know. I found me a Minnie Mouse costume, I think it was the only modest one I could find. So how cute would it be to be Micky & Minnie. Porter had so much fun. Again that little boy is so full of energy he ran all over the place.

Porter and Jeremy playing the bowling heads. He did great!!

Jeremy's sister Mandie was here visiting and came to see us before she left. I love you Aunt MandersPorter and His Grandpa David

Here is our little family. I know you cant really see Porters face, but as you can probably tell we can never get him to look directly at the camera.

He rode the train

So we took Porter to the Pumpkin patch in Aztec. Jeremy was off that weekend and man was it great to spend some much needed family time, just the three of us. Porter had a blast!! I think he liked the pumpkin patch the best. He ran from pumpkin to pumpkin trying to pick them all up. He is getting so big and to independant. He is so much fun and he is so full of energy. If only I could have just a tiny bit of the energy that he has I would be good to go :0)

This weekend we went to Mesa to see Hannah be baptised. I still have a hard time believing she is 8 yrs. old. She is so big. I still remember the day she was born. I am so thankful for Bree allowing me to share that very special day with her. It is so awesome to know what a wonderful choice she has made. She looked she beautiful in her white dress. Hannah I am so proud of you and love you so much. You have made the right decision!!

So before Jeremy left for Houston, we thought we would take Porter to the county fair. (This was last Saturday.) After walking around looking for all the animals we found out that the actual fair didnt start until Monday. We were so bumbed. So we ended up going over to the carnival and we were only able to ride one ride, and he loved it. He did not want to get off. My parents and I will take him tomorrow night before it is over. I cant wait to see how he reacts to all the animals.
