Family Time

We went out to Kirtland to Jeremy's Aunt and Uncle's house. Jeremy's mom has been in town helping take care of Jeremy's grandma, who passed away on Wednesday. This was the first time the family has been together since. We had a nice dinner and had a good time visiting.Porter and "little" Jeremy hang'in out with the BIG boys.

MY LITTLE MAN

So Porter LOVES Spaghetti. I think he loves the slurping of the noodles more than anything. And boy can this little guy make a mess.

OPEN WIDEMan that's good stuff.

Porter loves to help out. He is feeding the chickens. If you go out to feed the chickens he better be with you or you will hear all about it. Its not pretty.

The weather was really pretty nice on Monday. So after all the house work, we decided to clean up the yard and let Porter go out side. This kid loves to be outside. If I would let him out no matter how cold it is, he would be the happiest kid alive. I can not wait until it gets warm so I can just let him play outside all day if he wants. He is definitely an outdoors boy. He has so much ENERGY, that being out and running ALL over the place may just ware him out!!! I don't know if that will ever ever happen but its wishful thinkin.

He needs to learn to keep his eyes on the road. One thing at a time though.

Here's Porter driving his truck. Still not quite sure how the steering wheel works. He just goes round and round in circles.

Is he not the stinkin CUTEST little man you have ever seen :0)
Porter is so much FUN, so full of ENERGY, and just so darn IRRESISTIBLE. I am so thankful that I have him in my life. I love you Porter!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

CHRISTMAS EVE

For christmas eve we went to Jeremy's cousins house (Shantel) and had a wounderful dinner. After we ate we cleaned everything up and headed out to be Santa's little helpers. Shantel's
in-laws have had a christmas tradition for 30 years. They find a family in the community that is in need and deserving of help. This year they ended up with two family's. They find out what the family's needs are from food, toiletries, toys, ect. Shantel's father-in-law dresses up as Santa and everyone else are elfs. This was so awsome to be apart of. Because Jeremy has an awsome voice he was incharge of the singing. As Santa went into the houses and one-by-one handed out the gifts that where in his big red bag, we sang christmas carols. I of course could hardly sing. Yes I was crying. It was just so neat to hear how excited the little kids were when they saw Santa. We had two suburbans full of things, one for each family. I felt so blessed to be apart of something so wounderful. It is nice to see that people still care about others. I am so blessed to have an awsome husband who loves me and a beautiful little boy that I would do anything for.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

This christmas was an exciting christmas. Porter really got into opening his presents and it was so much fun to watch him. He was a little slow opening them so we had to help him out or we would have never gotten through it. Ha Ha! He loved what Santa brought him, it was a Black & Decker tool bench. If we didnt keep the presents coming he would get up and run to it and then was not happy at all when we brought him back. I would have to say this little boy is a bit spoiled. I would have to say, he is a bit spoiled. We love him so much, and we are so thankful he is ours :0)

Porter was so excited when he came out and saw is tool bench.

Porter already has the baseball stance down packed!!
Hope you all had a wonderful day.

Pumpkin Carving

We carved pumpkins with Porter this year and I'm not quit sure what he thought of it. It seemed like he was really grossed out with the inside of the pumpkin, alittle like his mom!! I'm sure as he gets older he will enjoy alot more. Once we were done though i think he thought they were pretty cool.

Trip to Idaho

My cousin Jake just returned from his mission on the . He served in the Olympia Washington mission. We were able to go up and be there for his homecoming. It was a very nice weekend. Maybe a little to long of a trip for just one full day, but Jake you were worth it. It was nice to be with family on a happy occasion. My sister and her boyfriend were able to come down from Oregon and it was really nice to spend time with her, and for Porter to see his Aunt Jamie.

Halloween

So we were so excited this year for Halloween because this year was really Porters first. He was only five months old last year. At the College where I work they always have a Halloween carnival so I thought it would be fun to dress up with Porter. I have never been one to dress up but I was so excited this year that I decided to get out of my comfort zone. Scary I know. I found me a Minnie Mouse costume, I think it was the only modest one I could find. So how cute would it be to be Micky & Minnie. Porter had so much fun. Again that little boy is so full of energy he ran all over the place.

Porter and Jeremy playing the bowling heads. He did great!!

Jeremy's sister Mandie was here visiting and came to see us before she left. I love you Aunt MandersPorter and His Grandpa David

Here is our little family. I know you cant really see Porters face, but as you can probably tell we can never get him to look directly at the camera.

He rode the train

So we took Porter to the Pumpkin patch in Aztec. Jeremy was off that weekend and man was it great to spend some much needed family time, just the three of us. Porter had a blast!! I think he liked the pumpkin patch the best. He ran from pumpkin to pumpkin trying to pick them all up. He is getting so big and to independant. He is so much fun and he is so full of energy. If only I could have just a tiny bit of the energy that he has I would be good to go :0)
