Bar D Chuckwagon

We went to the Bar D in Durango CO. last night. It was the first time for Porter and he loved it. He got a little restless before the show started, but as soon as they started playing, he hardly took his eyes off the stage. He even played his air guitar along with the band and danced. This will definitely be a year thing for us now. As soon as we got there we took him for a ride on the little train that they have, and then went around to all the shops. It was really nice and relaxing. I was able to talk my parents into going with us, which was fun.

I'm having trouble uploading pics, will try and get more up tomorrow.

No Longer A BaBy

We decided to BuZz Porters hair for the summer. It took me a couple days to get used to. I wanted to cry after I did it. He is definitely no longer a baby, he is now a little boy!!!
So I tried using a gaurd but his hair is way to fine, so it kept killing the clippers. Jeremy was getting VERY impatient so I took the gaurd off and this is what we got....

I know can you believe it!!! Seriously at this point I think I had tears in my eyes.

My little sTuD mUfFiN :0)
He thinks he is just the coolest kid. I think he got meaner after the haircut. He still stares at him self in the mirror.

PORTERS 2 YEARS OLD!!!!!!

I cant believe Porter is 2 yrs. today. I am sooo sad. He is not a baby anymore. It seems just like yesterday we were on our way out to Shiprock. He arrived at 10:06pm. Weighing 7lbs 6oz. I was only in labor for 5 hrs. from start to finish. Thank goodness because if it was any longer i dont think I could have made it.

He has been such a blessing to us. He is a ball of fire. Sometimes I wonder were I get my energy to keep up with his. He is always on the go, and I mean that. He NEVER stops. But I would not change him in a million years. He is my little man. I love and adore this little guy. he is mu whole world. I dont know what I would do without him in my life. Mommy and Daddy love you.

Porter diving into his cake!!!

He could hardly wait to get his little fingers in his cake. I was surprised though he really just ate the frosting.

Me and Porter. I made him his favorite dinner. He LOVES spaghetti. I'm not sure if its the spaghetti or getting to slurp it into his mouth. I really dont care which it is because he eats and eats when we have this for dinner.

Porter on his little bike his Granpa Alexander got him. I took him down to check the mail with me and he loved it.

Our Beautiful Little Family

Our beautiful little family!!

We had Jeremy's Grandma's funeral today. It was a very nice service. Though I didnt get to hear it all. Porter and I spent most of the time walking outside. We were able to get some Family picutes, which I am happy about because these are the first family pic's we have taken, with Jeremy's mom, George, and Cassidy.

Cas, Me, Porter, Jeremy, George and Brandy.
This is the first family picture we have ever taken. We
didnt even get one at our wedding. How sad is that. This is only the second time I have seen or spent any time with Cassidy. I wish his family was closer, so we could all get to know one another better. Porter feel in love with Cassidy. He wasnt to sure about her at first, but after warming up to her, she was the only one he wanted.

Porter, Aunt Cas, Me and Brandy.
As you can tell Porter only wanted
Aunt Cas to hold him.

Grandma Brandy and Porter. I love this picture.
We do not get to see Jeremy's mom
much, because she lives in Duncanville, Texas.
It takes him awhile to warm up but then you
cant keep him away!!

Family Time

We went out to Kirtland to Jeremy's Aunt and Uncle's house. Jeremy's mom has been in town helping take care of Jeremy's grandma, who passed away on Wednesday. This was the first time the family has been together since. We had a nice dinner and had a good time visiting.Porter and "little" Jeremy hang'in out with the BIG boys.

MY LITTLE MAN

So Porter LOVES Spaghetti. I think he loves the slurping of the noodles more than anything. And boy can this little guy make a mess.

OPEN WIDEMan that's good stuff.

Porter loves to help out. He is feeding the chickens. If you go out to feed the chickens he better be with you or you will hear all about it. Its not pretty.

The weather was really pretty nice on Monday. So after all the house work, we decided to clean up the yard and let Porter go out side. This kid loves to be outside. If I would let him out no matter how cold it is, he would be the happiest kid alive. I can not wait until it gets warm so I can just let him play outside all day if he wants. He is definitely an outdoors boy. He has so much ENERGY, that being out and running ALL over the place may just ware him out!!! I don't know if that will ever ever happen but its wishful thinkin.

He needs to learn to keep his eyes on the road. One thing at a time though.

Here's Porter driving his truck. Still not quite sure how the steering wheel works. He just goes round and round in circles.

Is he not the stinkin CUTEST little man you have ever seen :0)
Porter is so much FUN, so full of ENERGY, and just so darn IRRESISTIBLE. I am so thankful that I have him in my life. I love you Porter!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

CHRISTMAS EVE

For christmas eve we went to Jeremy's cousins house (Shantel) and had a wounderful dinner. After we ate we cleaned everything up and headed out to be Santa's little helpers. Shantel's
in-laws have had a christmas tradition for 30 years. They find a family in the community that is in need and deserving of help. This year they ended up with two family's. They find out what the family's needs are from food, toiletries, toys, ect. Shantel's father-in-law dresses up as Santa and everyone else are elfs. This was so awsome to be apart of. Because Jeremy has an awsome voice he was incharge of the singing. As Santa went into the houses and one-by-one handed out the gifts that where in his big red bag, we sang christmas carols. I of course could hardly sing. Yes I was crying. It was just so neat to hear how excited the little kids were when they saw Santa. We had two suburbans full of things, one for each family. I felt so blessed to be apart of something so wounderful. It is nice to see that people still care about others. I am so blessed to have an awsome husband who loves me and a beautiful little boy that I would do anything for.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

This christmas was an exciting christmas. Porter really got into opening his presents and it was so much fun to watch him. He was a little slow opening them so we had to help him out or we would have never gotten through it. Ha Ha! He loved what Santa brought him, it was a Black & Decker tool bench. If we didnt keep the presents coming he would get up and run to it and then was not happy at all when we brought him back. I would have to say this little boy is a bit spoiled. I would have to say, he is a bit spoiled. We love him so much, and we are so thankful he is ours :0)

Porter was so excited when he came out and saw is tool bench.

Porter already has the baseball stance down packed!!
Hope you all had a wonderful day.
