Porter is 3 yrs old!!!

I can not believe that Porter is 3yrs old today. It seems
just like yesterday that we were rushing out to Shiprock to welcome him
into the world. This little boy is SO full of ENERGY. He never stops. We love him
so much and would not change anything. We are so thankful that
he is in our lives. Some people think he
is crazy, which he is, but he is a boy!! And we love him
CrAzY and all. We love you Porter ~Happy Birthday~Porter got to have cake at daycare today. He was
so excited to share his cake with all is "friends"
This is the best picture I could get with him and his cake without having
it down and and all the other kids in the pic.

Porter at home eating yet another cupcake. This time with his
candle on it!!! He couldn't wait to blow out the candle.

My High School Girlies Graduating From Cosmetology

Larissa & I

In the Cosmetology program we have almost always had a "pinning" this is just a little something for the students. This year it was really hard for me because it was the 1st pinning I was not going to be a part of since I no longer work there. I went up to the school the Sunday before and got the room ready and I wanted to cry the whole time knowing I wouldn't be there and be a part of this. For those of you that read my blog and don't know, I worked for the College here in Farmington. I was a Cosmetology Instructor. I taught the High School class. I have never LOVED a job so much in my entire life. I loved what I did and loved the people I worked with. This was my dream come true job :0) This past year the Director that had been there for about 10 years retired. I worked with my mom, and she has always wanted the directors position. So she applied and of course got the job!!! But this meant I had to resign due to nepotism. This was probably one of the hardest things I have had deal with job wise. I still get emotional and tear up and its been almost a year. CRAZY I know. But I truly loved my job. Anyway, this year we got everything ready and as I was sitting at work knowing the pinning was happening I couldn't help but be sad. Then my phone rang and it was my mom. She told me that she did not want to pin "MY" girls she wanted me to. So at lunch I was able to go up and pin "MY" girls. I am so thankful my mom saved them for me to pin. I grew a love for each one of these girls. Each of them are AMAZING young ladies, each has there own talent, and I know that they will all go far in life.
