Porter is 3 yrs old!!!

I can not believe that Porter is 3yrs old today. It seems
just like yesterday that we were rushing out to Shiprock to welcome him
into the world. This little boy is SO full of ENERGY. He never stops. We love him
so much and would not change anything. We are so thankful that
he is in our lives. Some people think he
is crazy, which he is, but he is a boy!! And we love him
CrAzY and all. We love you Porter ~Happy Birthday~Porter got to have cake at daycare today. He was
so excited to share his cake with all is "friends"
This is the best picture I could get with him and his cake without having
it down and and all the other kids in the pic.

Porter at home eating yet another cupcake. This time with his
candle on it!!! He couldn't wait to blow out the candle.

My High School Girlies Graduating From Cosmetology

Larissa & I

In the Cosmetology program we have almost always had a "pinning" this is just a little something for the students. This year it was really hard for me because it was the 1st pinning I was not going to be a part of since I no longer work there. I went up to the school the Sunday before and got the room ready and I wanted to cry the whole time knowing I wouldn't be there and be a part of this. For those of you that read my blog and don't know, I worked for the College here in Farmington. I was a Cosmetology Instructor. I taught the High School class. I have never LOVED a job so much in my entire life. I loved what I did and loved the people I worked with. This was my dream come true job :0) This past year the Director that had been there for about 10 years retired. I worked with my mom, and she has always wanted the directors position. So she applied and of course got the job!!! But this meant I had to resign due to nepotism. This was probably one of the hardest things I have had deal with job wise. I still get emotional and tear up and its been almost a year. CRAZY I know. But I truly loved my job. Anyway, this year we got everything ready and as I was sitting at work knowing the pinning was happening I couldn't help but be sad. Then my phone rang and it was my mom. She told me that she did not want to pin "MY" girls she wanted me to. So at lunch I was able to go up and pin "MY" girls. I am so thankful my mom saved them for me to pin. I grew a love for each one of these girls. Each of them are AMAZING young ladies, each has there own talent, and I know that they will all go far in life.

29 WEEKS!!!! ONLY 10 WEEKS TO GO!!!!!!!!

Here I am at 29 weeks. I have been horrible at taking pics of my belly with this pregnancy. But I FINALLY did it. I have really felt great with this prenancy. I just love the thought of very very soon being able to hold my Landyn in my arms. I am so excited. Porter is even more excited. Every time we see a baby he thinks its ours :0) Porter is going to be an excellent "BIG" brother. I can not believe the love that I already feel for the little boy growing inside of me. It is an amazing feeling.

Porter Riding His Bike

So the other night Jeremy's dad sent him home with a little bike with training wheels on it. I asked Jeremy why he brought it home because this is all Porter talks about. When we go grocery shopping at Walmart our first stop is "the bikes". So I thought this is just not nice because Porter is still way to small for this. OK, so I was very wrong. Porter got on it and he was just shy of having both feet touching the peddles. Just yesterday Jeremy called when I was on my way home and told me that Porter was peddling the bike and keeping it straight all my his self. I could not believe this. I thought just two three days ago he couldn't reach both peddles. So as sure as I got home I went out to see Porter. I was in shock. Today we took him out to the street and let him ride. I still can not believe what I am seeing. My little man is not even 3 yrs old yet. He is such a BIG boy!!! He even had a fall and got right back up and kept going.

Here is Porter saying CHEESE to mommy!!!!

Porter riding back down to the house with daddy. Porter just riding away.
O how I love this little boy. He is growing so fast...
Porter mommy and daddy are so proud of you.

Porter and the Easter Bunny!!

Here is Porter with the Easter Bunny at the mall. He was so excited to see the bunny. This is all he talked about for days. Now when we drive by the mall its the HOHOHO and the bunny!! We have to explain every time that they are not there, that they had to go home and let me tell ya its not pretty :0)

Easter 2010

Here is Porter with his Easter basket from Papa Alexander. He was so excited. There were 2 cars in here which he loved. Thanks Papa Alexander!!!

Porter was so excited that the Easter Bunny came to see him. It was like Christmas morning. He was up very early and ready to go out to the living room and see what he brought him. Jeremy told Porter before we went out there that he needed to go check things out. He patiently sat on my lap until daddy came back in the room. He got so excited when Jeremy told him the bunny had indeed come and left him something. Porter wanted me to carry him out, but I put him down and when we got right out our room he stopped and started walking backwards. He didn't want to go out there. I explained that the Easter bunny was gone but that he had left him something. I had to hold his little hand till we got to the living room and he could see for himself that he was gone!!! He was so cute. When he saw what the Easter bunny had left him he just stood there. He finally walked up to the chair and started checking things out. Here he is with his Easter basket!!!

Porter LoVeD what the Easter bunny left him!!!!

Porter coloring his Easter eggs.
Next year we will have to color a lot more. Because he colored eggs at daycare, I thought we wouldn't color that many at home. WRONG idea. When he was done with the eggs he started re-coloring what he had already colored. Next year I will know better and we will have a couple dozen eggs :0)

This Easter was so much fun!! Because Porter was older he really got into it more that last year. We didn't get pictures of him hunting his eggs but he was so cute. He didn't really know what to do. But after he found them all we had to re hide them 2 times. After the first time he got the jest of it all!!!!
Lets not forget what Easter is...
I am so thankful for the sacrifice that was made for me and the opportunity that we have to live on this earth to strive to return to our Heavenly Father. I am so thankful for the Easter season, to take that time to reflect on our Savior.
Happy SPRING everyone!!!
